Rotaract of Springfield, MO

Most volunteer organizations consist of individuals across all age groups. Rotaract stands out because members are experiencing similar life milestones.

Members congratulate one another—and are there to support each other—on anniversaries at work, job promotions, marriages, new babies or first homes. Rotaract stands out because the Club partners with Springfield’s five Rotary Clubs; by working together on service projects and professional development, meeting together for socials and coming together for an annual city-wide meeting, Rotaract members are exposed to the various clubs to determine which one is the best fit for them after their time in Rotaract.

"BSA employees are expected to join a local service organization, and after hearing about Rotaract I thought this would be the best place for me—and it certainly has been! Rotaract has given me a place to test my skills as a leader. I have met multiple Eagle Scouts, potential new donors, and even potential volunteers through socials within Rotaract and with Rotary Clubs. Serving as a Casino Night Co-Chair has been the perfect way for me to use my event planning and organizational skills. I am even able to take ideas from this event and apply them to my current position with the BSA."

Potential new members, your first lunch is on us!

Currently, the Rotaract Club of Springfield meets from noon to 1 p.m. every second and fourth Wednesday at 425 Downtown at 425 W. Walnut in Springfield. Each luncheon features a program to expand members’ understanding of the work environment and business opportunities within the community. Speakers from various facets of the area bring the knowledge of their industry or organization to members each meeting. Visiting Rotarians often join Rotaracters for lunch as well.
